Why wouldn't he be welcomed?

As far as I remember he had a good relationship with most here.

Yeah I don't remember either. I'm certain he's welcome back here by the vast majority. What happened?

Irish Boy is one of my all-time favorite posters. I'd love to see him back. I just assumed he was too busy with his fancy lawyering gig.

From what I remember a lot of people were celebrating though I don't remember exactly who was.

Well, he's definitely welcome back here. If someone of any consequence thinks differently, they can sack-up and publicly explain why.

Guessing it was the crowd who's been using this board for years but still doesn't realize you don't have to read every post by every poster.

Iirc, IB was well liked by most here. I'm guessing the small minority that didn't like him probably aren't too well liked themselves by some here.

There was a dust up with BF and IIRC good dolphin even had a few words. Others took shots at him and Ugie on their way out. This was around the time of the McNuggett stuff.

I never really liked him but he's not the only guy I'd say that about. We could certainly use a few more racing guys.

From what I remember

IB and BigFan had beef on his way out. IB took him to task in a post (Ugie was doing same thing at the time) and good dolphn chided both of them for not recognizing that BF had provided both of them with a nice space to start their respective writing careers.

dolphin was careful to point out that he likes both guys though and was pretty much always IB's #1 and defended Ugie from accusations of bigotry. So dolphin certainly didnt celebrate it.

I dont think many were happy to see IB go. Scorehead probably was (and his mult Terry's guy who accused IB of plagiarism) and I think JORR and he were in a feud at the time (but not celebrate that IB is leaving the board type stuff)

So basically, no one who matters celebrated it.

A Venn diagram of those two words is just two completely separate circles.

Insults like this are why Irish Boy left.

Be careful.

Yeah, about which one of them is rounder.

RPB has it pretty correct. There's no animosity between IB and me. I'd say the complete opposite and I'm fairly certain he thinks the same.
