Which CFMB member -- past or present -- changed the way you think of them after meeting them in person?

Wheaton Zack

Prior to meeting him, I always thought he was a little pompous, extremely nerdy, scarily intelligent, but overall a nice guy.

After meeting him (and working with him), he's not pompous at all.

Found out Furious Styles wasn't actually Laurence Fishburn

Found out good dolphin wasn't a balck woman

Found out Seacrest wasn't actually Barry Rozner

spanky's cranium isn't nearly as big as everyone says it is, although he has to use a golf cart without a top on it. :P

White hair aside, Dr. Ken looks a lot younger than I had envisioned.

Good Dolphin is fatter and has slightly worse body odor than I anticipated.

I think all of them have been memorable. I now bump into Joe Orr randomly in the city. I've done it a couple of times with Gridiron as well.

The most memorable board meet up was Joe, his wife, sini and my kids and I at a showing of old baseball footage at northwestern. It was like Elvis meeting Nixon

Having a Chris in Joliet come up to you and your wife while shopping for groceries and announce he is a friend from the internet is an interesting experience.

Umm...yeah hun, well you see, he is this guy that invites strangers to his house from the internet to play cards. Perfectly normal.

Really enjoyed meeting T-Bone and Hawg as well. Both really good golfers.

Need to do another outing soon.

Little Crest at The Cell, moments after he had chatted with JORR, as we headed back to our seats... "Well, he really seems like an interesting guy!"

Me too, although the state of my golf game has deteriorated.

I'd be down depending on location... and with assurances that I didn't have to play with dead crows on the green.

I have not met any of you, but everyone on the podcast has sounded like a cool dude, sometimes despite their board persona, or mine.

I remember meeting Dr. Ken at a Hoops event (moment of silence...thank you).

It was like the big reveal of Willy Wonka walking with the cane and falling over. Only he didn't get back up.

Lol sorry about that.

I would have to say my weirdest would have to be either the time time Donspiracy(who I had absolutely no contact with at all) out of the blue sent me a message asking to come over for Wrestlemania seven years ago. I didnt like Don for a post he made kinda taking a jab at me or so I thought. I said fuck it and let him come over that day and we froze our asses off in the garage and have been good friends since and my son adores him

I would think the 2nd time was the first poker game at my house when I invited everyone over and had not met anyone besides WZ. Apparently you can meet strangers online and they wont shit in your kitchen sink.
