Wal Mart

Jewel isn't too overpriced and seem to have alot more deals than other stores do. I wont shop at Walmart as Ive been in too many Walmarts and I've seen where they hamdle their produce and their meat departments so that's a big read flag.

Jewel is hit and miss. Sometimes they do have some bargins and when they do you have to buy it even if you don't need it right then and there.

Jewel on a Sunday is prime deal territory. That's when you can get the Progresso main line of soups for $1 a can, frozen brand name chicken wings for $6 a bag, etc. Only downside is that some of their liquor selection is waaaaay overpriced compared to places like Binny's and Sam's Club/Costco: Jameson handle for $48 at Jewel, $39 at Binny's, that kind of shit.

I've been boycotting thst snaggle-toothed bitch for awhile. Atz Lee is a worse reality star than shakes.

I remember about 25 years ago when the QC based Eagle went belly up they turned the store in Geneseo into a Jewel. Lasted less than two or three years when Fareway built a store across the street. But we cannot get one in Galesburg WTF?

I thought that by rule you had to be over 65 to still be shopping at Jewel.
