There is still plenty of stuff on youtube from the old days.

I could listen to Jackie and Nancy being teased all day.

Is Jackie the biggest idiot of all time for walking away from that gig?

I adore Jackie. It was a huge mistake in most eyes, but for him, he had that personality where he never felt he received the credit he was due, and he loved the standup lifestle, up all night sleep all day. No doubt he regrets it now.

Loved when he was in the studio and they turned his light off because he was striking the E! Show....

Yes. Robin, Fred and Gary knew what was up.

Jackie left the show in 2001. At the very least he left $15 million on the table. Artie said he was able to make double on the road what he made in salary, but he was making only about 2/3 of what Jackie would have made in salary. He also had to work a lot to make it, however Jackie loved stand up more than Artie. Then there was all the side stuff Jackie sold as well. I think you could estimate Jackie missed out on $25-30 million for 20 hours a week of work over 16 years. That is some poor decision making.

at this point it'd be more like 10 hours of work per week. and a ton of vacation.

Yeah, I think his old lady talked him into it though.

The free plugs alone has to be in the millions. I never liked Artie and the show was never as good after the Joke man left.

Broken link.

If you have the Sirius sub with internet access there's a lot of on demand material. I just finished listening to every appearance Hank the Angry Drunken Dwarf ever made. Why don't you go have sex with Jesus Christ.

There's pretty much no reason to subscribe to Sirius unless you are a pussy like Parkins. Howard hasn't been entertaining in 10 years and you can replace all the other content with free podcasts.

I like Jim Norton, Dan Soder, and Dan Abrams too much. Plus, discovering old music (before I was around) on classic vinyl and deep tracks is a real treat. $5 per month is stealing.

The 6 months for 30 bucks deal is back? That expired for me a year ago. I guess 5 bucks a month is worth a few shows

Yup, I seem to remember him being a big deal in the 90's when the OJ trial was going on. Does that ring a bell?

I’m like Dan Abrams. He’s on ABC all the time.

He had to lay low for a while to avoid being canceled. But, in the end, I don’t think he was famous enough to be canceled.

He seems like a guy I could knock a few back with. But he’d probably go on and on about himself.

I follow all 3 of the Former Live PD crew and Tom Morris really got screwed. I don’t see him involved with anything. But he does seem to know his way around a grill.

Also for Dan Abrams-philes out there, he ends too many sentences by saying “right?”

That’s a thing I notice from highly-educated college professors I know, right?

Many do that often.

A lot of people like to believe that.

I wish I could, but I was THERE!
