Is this really surprising? Let's not kid ourselves in thinking these are good people.

Republicans want to take away health insurance for 26 million Americans and give the funds to the wealthy.

All the major bills they vote are brokered in secret behind closed doors, without anyone getting a chance to read them or debate them.

This is not a democracy. It's an oligarchy.

This never would have happened if they had all been been carrying their own assault rifles.

NBC ID'd shooter as 66 year old male from Belleville, Illinois (St. Louis suburb) -- some sort of domestic motivation for the shooting; not terrorism. They are looking into his social media and working on getting a search warrant to see if there is a political motive for the shooting or any mental health issues.

I wonder if the left wing media will catch the same flak the right wing media caught after Giffords was shot? Personally I wouldn't mind if both parties were cleaned out next time around. Just spare Rand Paul, Justin Amash, and Thomas Massie and I'm fine. They are the only 3 people in Congress I care about.

Previously 50 to 60 reported by Paul to MSNBC.

They are looking into his social media and working on getting a search warrant to see if there is a political motive for the shooting or any mental health issues.
