No it's not. Iirc Michael Beasley absolutely dominated Rose in their first summer league game against eachother. Didn't end up meaning diddly shit.

D Rose should do a 1 to 2 year deal with San Antonio. Get that Spurs DNA on his CV and he'll be able to get a larger deal for more years than anyone's going to offer this off-season. Stay away from the Bucks. Milwaukee is where PG's go to lose value.

If he's looking at close to a minimum contract I think MANY teams should consider taking a flyer on him as a quality backup. The Thunder would be interesting too.

That is what he should do, but he won't do that. He will not go somewhere to be a back up. He still thinks he is a superstar.

There are a lot of bad situations, esp in the East. One of those teams will bring him to be the starter.

Thibs would prolly give Rose the most minutes (of the teams rumored to be interested in Rose). Playing for Pop in San Antonio and their team shot doctor, maybe Rose could get his 3 pt % North of 30% again.

Farvio, you'll think that I'm as nutty as LTG, but he's really not that far off. But then again I grew up at a time where summer league games were better than most NBA games.

I know it's a different era now (Jordan played summer league into his 3rd year and other Chicago guys played years later). But even now you're watching generally better, older players playing with real money on the line.

Better individual talent on display, just most have no rooting interest so most don't care.

Sometimes it's playground ball, but in the gym it's more interesting for some than the overwhelming majority of college games.
