I was recently invited to a wedding from one of the guys who use to use my limo service back in the day. This is his second marriage and the girl is from China. The reception was at the wife's family home. After the festivities some of us sat down to relax in their living quarters and she turned on what looked to be a cable box. But what came up was a menu of movies currently playing in the theaters. Or maybe a week or two out from release. She started Wonder Woman and it was all in English but with Chinese subtitles. Yes even dim witted me realized this was all pirated. But these pirates seemed to have their own Comcast like service. I asked about it and some others Chinese relatives were like we all have it. Anyone know about this? I was taken aback and it sort of insulted my Judeo-Christian values. I mean this is complete stealing. I sort of brought it up to one guy and he looked at me like what's wrong with me! Like I'm the sucker if I'm not trying to steal movies. Not sure how this doesn't get shutdown as it seemed like it was a highly used service amongst many of the Chinese guests. |

easy explanation, they probably torrented the films and had them saved to an HD that is connected to their media player. I can download stuff, put it on a hard drive and use the Universal Media Player to play anything on my TV via my PS4. Anyone under age 35 does this, they grew up with Napster, then it was Limewire, and then it was Bit Torrent |

Chiners own much of Hollywood 2017. I believe Ryan Seacrest is contractually obligated to provide concierge services when the Chinese Premier travels abroad nowadays. |
