In the 1960s, popular banned Canned Heat encouraged everyone to "Come on, come on let's work together... Because together we will stand, every boy every girl and a man." SpiralStairs had similar thoughts regarding posting news stories where the ledes are clumsily composed by citing lyrics from songs. He suggested we compile them all under one thread... will he get his wish? Perhaps.

I don't know that you necessarily have to shelve that belief entirely.

In 1964, The Supremes released their seminal hit, “Come on Boy” in which a young Diana Ross sang,“the first move is up to you, come on boy, this is something a girl can't do”. Thirty years later and hundreds of miles from Motown, it appears an entirely different seminal hit was being released across the faces of more than one hundred Boston altar boys by Father John J. Geoghan, who stands accused of perpetrating acts of sexual abuse over the course of three decades.

For Mike Morell, CIA Presidential briefer, the longest five minutes of his life was the silence after he responded to President George W. Bush's question regarding who orchestrated the 9/11 attacks. For the rest of us, the closest we may come to feeling the expeirenc of those five minutes is watching John Cena narrating makeup application with some other guy in a movie coming out in April.
