Fuck that bloated piece of shit and his chickenshit "event".

That relic is worse than the fucking '85 Bears hanging around to sponge off of the faded memories of a long ago event. Hasn't that fat bastard gotten enough free meals & promotion yet? He hasn't been entertaining in decades and hell, the shitty stage for that dumb assed event & it's asshole participants has been a parking lot for a quarter of a century.

I remember seeing it on TV as a very young kid. I don't remember seeing Dahl. I would not be aware of his existence for at least another half a decade.

As soon as the shit hit the fan, he got the hell out of there early. If I remember correctly, he made one announcement from the press box asking people to get off the field. I remember Jimmy and Harry doing that to

I really only remember from the point Kravek was warming up. I watched with my grandma but she couldn't explain to me what was going on. I remember being disappointed I couldn't watch a game. If the first game started at 6, I would have had bedtime soon after the first pitch anyway.

That is a poorly researched and contextually deceptive take on the event.

I've seen a few of these deconstructions of the day lately calling it racist and homophobic. Look at the film of the event. It is a bunch of post hippies running around holding hands peacefully.

I can guarantee that every rock fan there who hated on disco would have been a fan of Jimi Hendrix or Freddie Mercury. They just knew bad music when they heard it and they deserve a medal for helping bring about it's demise.

IIRC, Jimmy interviewed Bill Gleason and they both were pissed.

Yeah, he really was. It's amazing how much our generation shapes us.

Guy had balls, though. Went after MJ on the podium after one of the championships.

"David Anderson is bigger than Michael Jordan"

To this day I've likely never read one of his columns. Sorry Gleason
