My apologies for the dumb joke but when I think of going up Rand,I think of the Police manhunt on Rand Road because of a women's false report. My question was legitimate. Is Rand Road going up north safe this weekend or are parts of it flooded or might be flooded because of cresting. |

I've been all around the area... looks like it has subsided in most places, but the rivers are going to crest this weekend. There were a lot of homes and business with substantial damage. Sewers backed up in many areas. |

Des Plaines River Road had some bad flooding south of Kensington. A whole stretch of Golf is shut down. |

Sewers backed up in many areas. that was the case before the Fox River dam in Burlington, WI crested....water in kenosha Co still rising...this dumps into the Chain O' Lakes. Blarney Island is now closed for the weekend and water levels will continue to rise into next week. The Entire Fox Waterway area is closed and all have been told to get your boats out of the water. |
