A family from my neighborhood had an oops baby which was number 5. Husband then got a vasectomy. They didn't wait/realize you can still get knocked up for a bit after the procedure and number 6 was born in July. |

Do's, don'ts, follow-ups for Vasectomy are pretty obvious and any Urologist makes them very clear. But...people are really stupid. |

I had an aunt that was 41 or 42 and had been told since she was young that she couldn't have children. She lived in Atlanta, but had flown to Illinois one summer to visit family. Wasn't feeling good one afternoon and it was getting worse. Went to hospital thinking kidney stones or something and gave birth a few hours later. She wasn't fat, would say typical "could lose 20 pounds" American. Wasn't a premie type baby either. Think they said close to full term. |
