I love how the new Face ID feature didn't work at today's event. How ridiculous...someone's getting fired over that. Also, regarding Face ID, it is allegedly "orders of magnitude" more secure than Touch ID, and there is "only" a 1 in 1 million chance of the phone accidentally unlocking for someone else's face. What? That would imply that Touch ID is only what, 1 in 10,000 or so? Also, I simply can't stand the same cliché phrases Apple uses over and over again. The new iPhone is certainly not the "biggest leap forward since the original iPhone." That distinction would clearly belong to the second gen iPhone, which introduced the App Store. I know it's just Apple being Apple, but it's still grating. I really hope the new phones bomb (though they won't) so Apple will be forced to innovate. |

My first impression watching that yesterday was "Don't these assholes know how to tuck in their shirts?" and "How about getting a real pair of pants?" They looked like a bunch of slobs. The next was either all these people are gay or that they are damned by God or both. And what they didn't tell anyone is that using their device would cause permanent damage to their DNA. This has been scientifically proven. The mutation of the cells it what leads to cancer. Read Dr. Martin Blank's research on cell phone radiation at Columbia. He's the foremost expert. All I-phones should be required to have an emblem with a big white skull on them.

I don't know about Xerox but you can see the beginnings of things getting away from them. They will play to their apostles and hope for the best until they can possibly come up with the potential next big thing. The smart phone is pretty much at maturity and not too much else you can do right now to swing the market. |

OLED, face unlock, no physical home button, edge to edge screen.... i find it funny they present this stuff as if it is new.... except their competitors have been implementing these same features on already released phones. |

Anyone who buys this phone at this price is an idiot. Apple used to create a great phone with phenomenal marketing. Now they create a substandard phone with phenomenal marketing and have the audacity to raise the price on it like that's a new feature.
