I have a good "in" on a couple hundred acres of cheap farmland. I figure if I buy now, it would be invaluable when weed becomes legal here. You know how to grow this shit? |

You cut up those big fat outtie colas good and very few people can tell innies from outties. Assuming it's killer genetics and grown well. |

What does leash bring to the table? He grew up on a farm and never grew...on that alone I'm skeptical, he's an insurance man to boot... I don't see him making the squad. |

Assuming it's killer genetics and grown well. True, but I am speaking logistically. Consistent light cycles, easier to water, not in view of aircraft, etc. High quality lights won't use up too much electricity to raise red flags. As was mentioned, Illinois isn't an ideal climate for outdoor growing, with the short season and all. Game on in Cali. This summer, we went up to see some friends in Michigan. My buddy brought me over to his guy's house. He has a legal grow, with Michigan having pretty liberal medical cannabis rules. One of his patients is his mother, who is withering away from cancer. He has a basement full of high quality plants. No jerseys or ginseng. |

Game changer on this was the led grow lights correct? They really can generate more lumens than the old vho and such. |

The more lumens per watt the more efficient.. The LEDs are just a better spectrum that run cooler ..so you keep em closer without cooking the plants. You can bleach plants with cobs from 14" ... Much more intense. |

You can grow 2 lb monsters if you start em in doors in March and put em out in early may. Michigan gas Sandy soil so you have to feed n water more but Illinois gas the slow draining clay. I prefer innies but it's so relaxing growing trees and sneaking out there at 3am and watering them while the ambulances and cops are zipping by 106th street . |

I know a lot, but I'm not an expert. Years ago, one of my guys around here rented a house, and had a huge grow. He put up some fans, and he had me over to vent them through the roof. I loved going over there on harvest day. He threw a huge tarp on the floor, and we got to curing. As you cure, you start accumulating hash balls on the shears, which of course he didn't mind us keeping. Good times. Sometimes, I miss being young. |

I use to have a big old planted fish tank. I got it because my kids were all into it and I of course over did it.. we switched from a vho system to an LED system (From a company that dies grow lights for hydroponics too) and the heat in that room and my kw use went way down. Had a meter that read plant available light and it did pretty well. But it was a pain in the ass and my kids didn't want to help so I simplified the system. |
