Being vegan I feel is a sign of weakness. I cannot trust you. I will not let you in my "foxhole". |

someone at work brought in cookies and i grabbed a few of them and took a bite into one and spit it out immediatetly unfortunately in front of the person who made them. They replaced eggs with chia seeds and water. yeah. it was disgusting. But then she told another vegan that she used honey and THAT vegan told her they aren't vegan because honey isn't vegan because bees use it to live or some shit. but i was like bees use fruit trees to live you idiot. |

I think they might use honey to feed the larva (or whatever baby bees in eggs are called). |

Good bee keepers always leave enough honey to prevent death to a colony, so the bees have enough to eat as well. So how would a dumb ass vegan argue that honey is in any way against their "principles"? |

vegans eat what other animals eat, they too are essentially stealing food from animals by eating plants. its absurd. |

So how would a dumb ass vegan argue that honey is in any way against their "principles"? The argument is you are enslaving the bees or something like that from the vegans I know. But, to be honest, they are nuts. I would guess the better argument is that you just draw a hard line st any animal derived food product whether it costs the life or not. |

I draw the line at if it’s tasty I’m going to eat it but whatever floats their boat. |
