Not guilty. Not even Involuntary? Unbelievable. Get ready for the anger of the OJ acquittal multiplied by the internet and 2017. Good times. |

Kate Steinle kinda looks like a sea lion, so it was probably just an honest case of mistaken identity...... |

So why the not guilty verdict? IIRC didn't he admit he was the one who shot her, just that it was an accident or some shit? How is that not involuntary manslaughter? |

Quote: Jose Ines Garcia Zarate, who had been deported five times from the U.S., was accused of fatally shooting 32-year-old Kathryn Steinle in the back while walking with her father on July 1, 2015. If he was walking with her father, he must of known who she was. |

Jury had the option of first or second degree murder or involuntary manslaughter and didn't convict on any of them. Unreal. |

To stick it to Trump. Her family should sue SF for letting the guy out of custody even thought the FEDs asked them to hold him for deportation. http://www.cnn.com/2017/11/30/us/kate-s ... index.html Quote: Jose Ines Garcia Zarate, 45, was acquitted of murder and involuntary manslaughter charges, as well as assault with a deadly weapon. Jurors convicted the Mexican citizen of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Much to the chagrin of Bill O'Reilly. And (b) the latest slang word discovered by people who talk about "street cred" |

The defense that I heard was that he found the gun and picked it up and it went off in his hand (hey buddy). I'm unsure how that isn't involuntary manslaughter. I thought the plan all along was to get that as the charge. |

I'm just really not sure why that would be such a controversial stance....but I know people who would likely argue with that or call you biased, etc. |
