We have a friend at church who is a very talented artist. For several years she, among many others, has painted ornaments to be hung on the various White House Christmas trees. The WH sends out an invitation to send an ornament and informs the artists of the theme for the year.

She got her letter from the Obama WH recently. It said that they would not be called Christmas trees this year. They will be called Holiday trees. And, to please not send any ornaments painted with a religious theme.

Just thought you should know what the new residents in the WH plan for the future of America. If you missed his statement that “we do not consider ourselves a Christian Nation” this should confirm that he plans to take us away from our religious foundation as quickly as possible.

It was announced that there will not be Christmas trees at the White house this year. They will be called Holiday Trees. Obama says this is no longer a Christian Country, it’s a country of many faiths.

Instead of gold , frankincense and myrrh, I got privilege , patriarchy, and white supremacy . Life is good.

Stones that you put in the fridge/freezer meant to chill whiskey without melting and diluting it.

Only kids stuff today. My kids got me Ghiradelli chocolate caramel squares, Yuengling hot wing sauce, Yuengling Bacon infused bbq sauce, and an electric screwdriver specifically for the screws in toys. It made installing the 938 batteries this morning much easier.

I don't drink, but I do like hot sauces and bbq sauces. I do like their ice cream so we will see about the sauces. What is funny about it is that they bought all that stuff for me at the school's 'Santa's Workshop.' Way better than the crap they had when I was a kid.

My son bought me a new tv which we had already agreed upon when we met for Thanksgiving. It came earlier in the week and the delivery guy set it up. Its like 50 inches and beats my old tube tv.

To my surprise, the deal for the tv also included a new xbox. My son already knew that I guess and said it will help me with my loneliness. It came with some star wars game so maybe ill try that when I figure out how to set this up. I think it's working but can't find the wire to connect the controller to the device. Any ideas?

He also got me a subscription to netflix which is nice. He said I can watch all this thru the xbox as it's got all the apps like my laptop. It also has MLB and the sports apps which will be nice to see games on a big screen.

Maybe i'll post on the games section if I take interest in this thing.

--

add : figured it out, no wires needed! pretty cool. I didnt have the display hooked up to the right choice. now it shows how to set it up.
