Should be fun... “Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my Presidency,” the statement read. “When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind. Steve was a staffer who worked for me after I had already won the nomination by defeating seventeen candidates, often described as the most talented field ever assembled in the Republican party.” “Now that he is on his own, Steve is learning that winning isn’t as easy as I make it look,” Trump said. “Steve had very little to do with our historic victory, which was delivered by the forgotten men and women of this country. Yet Steve had everything to do with the loss of a Senate seat in Alabama held for more than thirty years by Republicans. Steve doesn’t represent my base — he’s only in it for himself.” “Steve pretends to be at war with the media, which he calls the opposition party, yet he spent his time at the White House leaking false information to the media to make himself seem far more important than he was,” the president continued. “It is the only thing he does well. Steve was rarely in a one-on-one meeting with me and only pretends to have had influence to fool a few people with no access and no clue, whom he helped write phony books. Trump added: “We have many great Republican members of Congress and candidates who are very supportive of the Make America Great Again agenda. Like me, they love the United States of America and are helping to finally take our country back and build it up, rather than simply seeking to burn it all down.” |

bannon only interesting to MSM if he is doing something potentially damaging to trump. the fact that the president was able to issue a formal rebuke in less than a few hours from these bannon book quotes hitting the interwebz does nothing to disprove trump sits around watching fox news all day. |

I just want Kellyanne's head to explode from the fight between her two daddies. And big Sarah to have to lie about it the next day from her podium. |

Steve Bannon is going to get the Fredo treatment from the rest of the right wing. He thought the movement belonged to him, but his own publication is turning on himi. ![]() |

Bannon is gonna make tens of millions on this book. You knew a book would be written on him. You just didn't think it would be from one of his guys less then 1 year of his presidency. |

Trump attorneys apparently issued a cease and desist order against Bannon making disparaging remarks against Trump due to a non-disclosure agreement. |

I'm just taking a guess here. Bannon broke bad on Trump publicly because he thinks the FEDS are gonna come after him for Russia. So he's giving himself cover. |

Can a NDA be legal for government work? Wouldn't Bannon have been a government employee? I'm asking because it doesn't seem legal but I'm no lawyer. |

billypootons wrote: bannon only interesting to MSM if he is doing something potentially damaging to trump. The mainstream media is interested in Bannon the same way they're interested in Richard Spencer and Paul Ryan: they romanticize the idea of an "intellectual" opposition to their neoliberal consensus. When they feel like they're running up the score on retards, they trot out Bannon as some sort of Cardinal Richelieu of the alt-right because he read the preface to The Prince and doesn't mispronounce Sun Tzu. Spencer is "the dapper Nazi" because shitlibs can't believe a white supremacist would wear anything but stained sweatpants and a t-shirt that says "Who Farted?" on it. And Paul Ryan is the "intellectual" wing of the Republican Party because he writes a lot of dumb crap and is frequently photographed making a "thoughtful" pursed-lip face like he wet his pants in public and needs to figure out how he can leave the room without anyone noticing: ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I got this from CNN so please excuse all the bias.... "I authorized Zero access to White House (actually turned him down many times) for author of phony book! I never spoke to him for book. Full of lies, misrepresentations and sources that don't exist. Look at this guy's past and watch what happens to him and Sloppy Steve!" the President tweeted. |

Then we should expect a libel suit to follow. It should be a slam dunk. |
