I'd say it's the fact that Americanism isn't defined by any specific ethnic background. Which is why shared values and culture are more important here than anywhere. This is an experiment that could easily break apart if we embrace typical tribal allegiances rather than our shared values. |

Places like this, with the ability to speak freely without free of prosecution. Ability to search the media (written, television, internet) to find two sides of a story and be able to form an opinion from those sources. Ability to peacefully protest on whatever issue you disagree with. Blending of cultures that brings us closer to other countries that allow us to eliminate preconceived stereotypes of one another. |
