A group of students at the University of Texas, San Antonio plans to start publishing a “No Whites Allowed” (NWA) magazine.

According to a Facebook event titled “Zine Release,” the magazine will be revealed on March 1 at La Botanica, which describes itself as “Texas' first vegan restaurant with a full bar and performance and event venue.”

“Thursday at La Botanica from 8-11pm there will be the NWA Zine release party! This zine specifically features and promotes black and brown lgbtqa creatives,” the description states. “We hope to showcase our talent and create an open space for our voices to be heard.”

Socialists have shifted from the worker vs owners to the "oppressed" vs the oppressors (straight white people).

The burrito agenda.

Grabbing guns.

Marginalizing traditional values and amplifying racial strife.

It is all a piece of taking over our country without us noticing.

I understand what these people are saying, and it is good to have your own space where you feel insulated and safe. There is value in that--there's lots of value in that--for practically everyone.

However . . . this isn't the way to do it. It's needlessly provocative, of course. But mostly, it's not a way to keep people feeling safe but a way to get some payback and share some aggression.

You can't claim the moral high ground, which is what they are trying to do, by telling people to fuck off. Sure, it might be good for you to tell people to fuck off, but don't claim you have the moral high ground. They often use their supposed moral high ground to negate arguments (all lives matter, notall______) which are logical and realistic (in practice). No shortcuts allowed.

Germany spent like 5 years playing nice with Muslims before they realized how huge a mistake it was. The USA has spent over a century now begging blacks to get their fucking shit together and has responded to their consistent failure to do so as being the fault of white people.
