Love my memory foam mattress. Got the 12in. thickness and sleep like a baby.

What do you guys/gals(happy woman day) prefer? Sleep number bed? Springs, Hybrid?

Serta iComfort Hybrid. Best of both worlds. And with the power base that allows me to angle it any way I please, heaven.

We have this weird latex mattress that my wife had to have. It’s... interesting but has held up well over the 6 years we’ve had it. Pretty firm though so it took some getting acclimated to.

The one time I was at a bed and mattress store, the salesman kept using the phrase "the whole shootin' match." He said it about twelve times in the span of two minutes. I was there with my buddy who just got out of the Navy (US or Canada, I can't remember which) and I always wondered if they salesman thought we were gay. We weren't and we're still not. Anyway, I have not heard anyone use that expression since.

Hahaha. Reminds me of the Jerky Boys prank call.

Do they still make waterbeds?

+1 and I went to Art Van and did their Sleep Science Experience or whatever, and of course the mattress we both loved was four grand. Found a similar-feeling hybrid at Bob's Discount Furniture for less than half that price.

In the market for a king size mattress right now. The wife is determined to buy one online. I'm staying out of it, just
need to know what the full bill is going to be and they better take my old mattress.

If you can get past the Joe Piscopo face, I guess so.

Sounds like us. We just decided last weekend to go with a Bob-o-pedic. Some of the mattresses at Matress World were better but we can't justify the extra cost. We are going with dual twin XL with adjustable bases pushed together.

we have people that use the purple bed and casper at work. they all like them. we bought our memory foam at costco 3 years ago and have enjoyed it.

our next bed is probably going to be an all out sleep number adjustable because my GERD is more controlable at an angle but my wife can't sleep that way.

Post subject:  Re: Best kind of bed

we hate our sleep number bed. to be specific, the gap between the halves of the bed is problematic. bed slopes towards the middle so it feels like you are sleeping on an angle at times.... and the gap in the middle makes sex more adventurous as you unexpectedly have to reposition because of the stupid middle of the bed.

when you get the stupid bed delivered you come to realize it's just a fucking air mattress, with an air pump, foam borders, modular plastic frame that holds air mattress... $50 of materials that you just paid 20 times more than that to buy

Aren't the sleep number beds glorified air mattresses?

My brother tried a sleep # bed years ago ... thought it was complete dogshit, and not even on a stick.

I sleep on a pile of hay under an old Army blanket that smells slightly of victory but mostly of rum.

Other than the radio I haven't heard anything great either.

We got a purple bed and like it, quick review:
my wife has shoulder/back pain issues and since sleeping on the bed (got it a year ago) it's gone down drastically. I sleep better, I'm a light sleeper and if she or the dog moves, I don't feel it as much.

I am really disappointed in you people.
