If Conservatives needed a wake-up call, this is it.

Its not a conservative thing. This is a right-wing extremist thing. There are right-wing extremists who have been in our midst for some time now. They finally got a major voice with the Tea Party and its morphed into this mess. True conservatives are being held hostage by this. Trumps just playing it to his advantage. The people who he has had around him were very smart. There is no wake up call coming, there's only going to be more extremism on each side until we collapse into civil war.

Unfortunately, I feel this way more and more.

People forget that a man bombed a government building a declaration of war about 25 years ago. Search Twitter for the people involved in incidents like Ruby Ridge and Waco. I'm not saying all Trump supporters are extremists, but a good portion of them are out there and more visible than ever before.

Obama won because the uninformed youth of this country at the time was excited about his social media campaigns and the excitement he generated as a celebrity politician.

Trump won because that uninformed youth grew up in those eight years and a lot of them realized the only real jobs out there for them are now temp / part-time and that things didn't really get much better for them. Combine them with the baby boomers who have been heavily influenced by right-wing media and you get what you saw a year ago. They did a great job of exploiting race and inequality.

Actually the deplorable comment was intended for those that subscribe to "embrace Racism" ideology. As usual let's generalize in order to obscure the point. Her comment regarding deplorables was intended for the Alt Right crowd. To suggest that TRump gives a shit about anyone but himself is laughable. If they were looking for someone that cared about them they could have did a whole lot better than that asshole. His track record in business illustrates that perfectly.

This. The deplorables were never in play for HRC. Her mistake was underestimating the mood of the middle and ignoring their desire to hear a strong message addressing their concerns.

This is not complicated.

Obama won because he is black.

Trump won because Obama is black.

The next person will win because of some simple other thing that they are, or aren't that makes them stand out.

No need to over-complicate things.
