Please vote. Let me be serious here, I would rather someone vote, even if it is against my own views, rather than them not vote at all.
We need to exercise out civic duties!

I abstain from many races..had to support my guy Rauner. He's getting it abuse from both sides....He's a good dude at heart and aligns with my fiscal conservative social liberal views. Ives is satan, I do believe that.

Anyway, go vote!

You're my guy Denis, you know that, and I know you have told the story, but it upsets me a bit. I don't think it in the spirit of what an election is supposed to be.

My polling station will see its typical steady stream of 8 people an hour today, I think I can make the time to drive over, walk in and say hi to my neighbors.

It was a fine scene the other day when I told my daughter she gets to vote in the November general election. She said she didn't know who to vote for and asked if I would help. Now just two years away from four......

I know a few who seem to be that way. I don’t get it but I also have a very easy voting experience.

Primary is obviously less interesting because people are running unopposed. I think voting is very important because there are a lot of countries that don't allow the citizens to pick any leaders.

I got there at about 7:30a. It was so dead, unfortunately, compared to November 2016. I hope it picks up throughout the day.

i'll truly miss the attack ads, they all make me laugh. The treat me, the viewer, as if i am a total nincompoop unable to think for myself.... here's some bullshit... just accept it as fact. Nearly all misconstrue statements.... the rauner attacks on Ives are hilarious, every single one of his attacks he's taken a snipet of her quote and used it (poorly) out of context. the berrios NRA attack ad is perhaps the greatest of all time as summarized here (open link in incognito browser to defeat tronc paywall)

Not saying she has, but Rauner's tactic of saying she is buddies with Mike Madigan is laughable. If anything, he is the one who has agreed with some Madigan issues.

Just voted. The machine said I was the 130th ballot cast. Not sure if that's good or bad.
