Minnesota Viking Fran Tarkenton was know as the mad scrambled during his playing days before going into the Monday night football both. He hails from Richmond Virginia.

As an aside I am doing a premature college tour. I was incredibly impressed with the university of Richmond. I thought this was as an add on visit on the recommendation of a family friend in the business and walked out of there very comfortable with the prospect of sending my baby there in the future should he choose. The price is stiff but my friend told me she had seen that they were aggressively courting the Chicago area with financial incentives.

I don't see anything about an American adaptation. But I'd like to see how it would go. The only question is whether Americans could get their heads around what's basically Family Feud in reverse, and to do it without Steve Harvey going "I can't believe she said doo-doo ass!" or however that show goes now.

Richmond is a good school, but I wouldn't recommend it if your kid is planning on living in the Chicago area. The lack of a vibrant alumni network in the city will make it harder for your son to get a job--unless, of course, you're going to pull some strings for him.

If your kid is just looking for a small, liberal arts college experience, there are plenty of great options in the Midwest. There's nothing unique about UR, and Richmond itself is kind of a weird place, although the beer scene there is phenomenal.
