Has been re-launched after a brief hiatus. Had to get mine via eBay as all the idiot comic collectors scooped up the first copy at my local shop.

I probably had (have actually) evey Mad magazine from like 1979-85 or so. One of my key formative influences along with Steve & Garry and racist Looney Tunes.

$5.99 Cheap!

Only bummer is it is bi-monthly now.

Enjoyed both magazines as a yute, Mad was probably a little bit better on average.

Cracked was for when you were desperate for reading material but the new Mad wasn't out for another week or two.

------

The new version is a little bit raunchier than the old one, I doubt they expect MANY 12 year olds to buy it.

They always were putting out their old stuff like that in "Special Issues" and paperback books. I had all those too.

Loved Mad back in the day... Cracked as well.

Anyone remember another knockoff rag called, "Sick"?

That didn't stay around as long as the others.
