Why would you tip the owner of a business? It's less a tip than it is you just adding extra money to your bill. |

Is he doing it for free? Is he going above and beyond what someone would generally do? If not, no need to tip him. You pay him for the service he gives you. |

I never expect a tip but when I get them I remember the customer. They'll always get that little extra next time. Whatever it is... a break on a repair, extra filters, maybe I'll just change the batteries in the thermostat... shit like that. |
