First off, why the fuck would you pay all that money to live next to an active volcano? Second, this is literally the most boring news story going. I swear this has been an active story for four days and so far only 3 homes have been destroyed.

Pretty sure it's up to 40, but again. You live next to a fucking volcano.

A US state is going to be torn apart and sink into the ocean and Hoffy will be pissed they didn't find a way to tie it to a story about the Cubs.

Volcanoes, hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding, wild fires, tsunami, earthquakes - doesn't seem to matter where you live, mother nature can change your life in a hurry. Watching that lava slowly creep toward your house and knowing there is nothing you can do about it must really suck.

My wife and I were on the Big Island years ago when the volcano was erupting. Truly one of the most amazing things I have ever seen in my life. The other was seeing the Grand Canyon for the first time.

CNN and MSNBC are reporting from a "reliable source" that it is Trump's fault(pun intended).

Talked to a buddy that lived there for a while. Apparently it's no surprise that that area is getting annihilated. The people with houses there have been warned to not build there...It's sorta like building in an area that floods next to the Mississippi. Nobody to blame but your own dumb ass.

I'm sure they'll want Go Fund Me's to take care of them.

You went on a rant about threads being made political, in a political thread, but a mention of Trump in the volcano thread isn't a problem.... dude. Pick a lane.

I complained that you turned another thread into another back and forth pissing match. This thread has not been turned into such a match by one mention of Trump. As I correctly stated, these are two very different things.

At least lava usually moves slow enough where you have time to get out. Wildfires and floods only sometimes give you that opportunity, and tornadoes almost never do.

At least lava knows what direction it's flowing.
