Come on man. You ran on hope and change, and you remained loyal to the political/Wall Street class. Wages have stagnated for 40 years, and you think people turned to Trump because you were elected "too early"?

I think we've reached the point where you can stop claiming Trump was about "economic anxiety"

Shouldn't have said that bullshit about Trayvon. I mean it's one of the many stupid political mistakes the left made in the 2012-2016 years but it did unimaginable harm to his legacy. He can't complain about tribalism when he claimed Skittles boy could've been his son

Seriously, what are your politics, Baby? I really have no clue. I would say rage and anger. You're a Trump voter. You just didn't vote for Trump.

Yeah. People are happy in their lives, and feel great about their economic standing.

It's really not.

It's more realization that Trump's election showed that people don't really see themselves as part of a wider global population and are way more comfortable in their bubbles.

That despite all the lofty narratives people like to spew about coming together and uniting, people are way more happy when they have some other group of people to look down on.

This is not about Trump. Hence the title of the thread. It's about hoping the democrats stop with this identity bullshit and start adopting policies that help the majority of the population.

It's not because he "pushed this concept too far". That's what an idiot columnist at Politico would say. Places where people were suffering in 2008 looked like the same rundown shitholes in 2016. He had an opportunity to do something major, and he passed a mediocre at best healthcare law and a weak recovery act that mostly benefited the elite.

So how about you explain how people clinging to their identity has anything to do with you link or you talking about the ACA. I'm guessing you can't and it's just a deflection to get away from what MAGA actually is.

everyone has been talking about this since WW2. New world order is inevitable, but the people keep pushing back against it.

bill clinton has said this. the bushes have said this. hillary has said this. the only way to ensure a safe future is to consolidate governments, but you cant just do that overnight. it takes decades and decades... and were finding out it might take over a century.

all obama is saying is he was a one world government type of guy, which is exactly what the right wingers said was bad about him

trump won as a nationalist, and thats what half the country still wants. its been going on since ww1 and even before that. its nothing new. it will eventually evolve into a new world order, it has to, but for now its still a mix of shit.

Wilsonian insistence that globalism will create peace is bullshit. We tried that, it led the second act of the Germany vs The World saga.

A lot of people are going to have big issues if they never allow Obama’s and his legacy to be the least bit fallible.
