There is a black lady who works at my local Dunkin Donuts who everyone loves. She always calls the men "honey" and "babe", etc. She reminds me of Napolean Dynamite's brother's girlfriend. She is even chipper at 5:00 in the morning. A couple weeks ago, a white girl who started who can't be any more than 22 or 23 years old, and she is clearly trying to steal the black lady's style by also calling people "hun", "babe", "sweetie", etc. She doesn't pull it off as well, and to be honest, she pisses me off. Calling your elder "honey" (especially as a lame white girl) seems condescending. Makes me feel like she views me as some old dude in a nursing home drooling all over himself. I got irrationally angry about it this morning. |

I mentioned in the Rand Paul thread yesterday about old guys who get angry about "pants on the ground". I know a lot of guys my age and older who get furious over this, particularly some of my black friends. The thing that made me think of it is that one of them sent me a picture of a couple kids with their pants way low and their checkered boxers up high on their waists and wrote, "I know it bothers you that this bothers me." I replied that it doesn't bother me that it bothers him but that I just wonder why he gives a fuck. He sent me back a long diatribe about how they couldn't go on job interviews like that and a bunch of crazy stuff. I actually started typing a response that they likely weren't on their way to a job interview but then I thought better of it and deleted the message. The real kicker is that this particular friend of mine isn't exactly a sharp dresser himself. He's always wearing ratty work clothes even when he isn't working. |

I'm always raging. I don't know where to even begin. It sucks though because as soon as I lose my shit the dog runs to the bedroom so it's pretty much "WHERE THE FUCK IS THE...no no no buddy, I'm not mad at you, come here, you're a good boy" then I go back to yelling at the woman. She lets me take out everything on her. Great woman. |

There is this one woman, a friend of my wife’s, that basically any contact with puts me into a pissy mood. It started when it was raining a lot and she posted that she was going to build an Ark, but spelled it arch. She has proceeded to do this for the last 9 years. Also, she’s a vegan and likes to remind people of it every 5 minutes. Secondly.. Instapot’s. I have no idea why. |

Because of school buses I was gonna make a thread in the Shoutouts section titled "Child Murderers" but decided not to because I'm trying to become more likeable. Also, I want to jackknife powerbomb my girlfriend's sister's boyfriend. |

Most of mine comes from my step kids. I probably have too many instances to count what bothers me. I don't really get angry but my annoyance level goes to a pretty high level. I walk my dog a few times every day and one of the things that bothers me is when people don't shovel their sidewalks. Another thing that has gotten under my skin this spring/summer is my next door neighbor. I have lived next door for 5 years and I have always mowed a shared strip of grass between our houses. It is really just an extra two passes with the mower and at least I can keep it looking uniform. I cut my grass 2-3 times a week and he does it maybe once a week if that. This year he has decided that those two strips are going to be his so he has been cutting them. Not a huge deal but it makes that strip between us look really stupid when my grass is always short and his two strips are long. I am pretty sure he is trying to draw a line in the sand that it is actually his property line ( which may very well be true ). We had an incident last fall between my dog and him and his dogs and so I think that might be playing into it some. I'd talk to him about it but he is essentially a hermit and doesn't really talk so I am just leaving it alone. |

I actually should just label everything as Facebook people but there is s collection of friends of friends that anytime a meal is mentioned or cooking tips, doesn’t matter if it is barbecue or fine French cuisine bring up how great they made it in an instapot. Now, there might be some people that have these tremendous skills but I’ve eaten these people’s concoctions and they are all flavorless, single texture garbage minus a few soups that had potential but again, people are allergic to herbs and spices out here it seems. So I am sure it’s s great tool for certain things but its not a whole kitchen replacement. |

My next door neighbor and his sons are the worst mowers on earth. I laugh every time they cut the grass. They ride around on the mower without a bagger. They miss entire swaths of lawn. But the best part is after they cut it, they then rake it all up into black plastic hefty bags. I am like, buy the bag attachment......if you're gonna walk your entire lawn to rake it, why not just bag it as you go? They have three foot tall grass spots that they miss the entire summer. |
