I thought the Borg were as creepy as shit in this movie.
I consider it one of the better ST movies I have watched.
I seldom watched the TV shows but I think I have seen every movie except the 1st one.

Wrong movie jim ... this is the one with the guy who was engineered to be like Picard (Shinzon) ... had a Viceroy ... Janeway had a character cameo ... there was the "fake" Data.

I remember being mostly okay with it but off the top of my head I remember I was annoyed because it was ripping at least one movie off, maybe two ... don't recall which offhand ... probably "Up" and "Serpico".

DT,
I'm shocked to discover the Borg were in the movie First Contact. I would have bet money it was Nemesis. I guess they all blend together after awhile.

Sounds like a pun! But, is B-4 actually Data since all of Data's information was passed to B-4?

Believe me, jim ... I understand. :(

But yeah, First Contact was quite good. What's that other one ... Insurrection? Saw that the other day again. Would've made a better two-part episode on TV but it wasn't bad.

jim, you watch any of the new ones yet? I haven't seen the third one, but I thought the other two were quite good, somewhat to my surprise (me no likey change).

Nemesis is bad ,you have to read the comic that explains what happens before or read the novelization. It explains a whole lot of shit.

I thought they could of done much more with working in DS9 into it.

What comic are you referring to?

I thought the 3rd one might be the best action wise. The first one really captured the spirit of Star Trek. I thought the 2nd was great right up until the final 15 minutes when they brought Kirk back to life and turned Mr. Spock into a superhero.

I liked it. I think it was probably the 2nd best of the TNG movies. Insurrection was like a bad 2-parter from season 6 or 7 from the series.

1. First Contact
2. Nemesis

3. Generations

4. Insurrection

I don't recall insurrection I guess, but watching William Shatner try to move and perform action moves at least 50 pounds overweight was entertaining at least.

Insurrection was on of those hippie-planet-with-dark-underpinnings ones.

Awful film, but I'll let Mr. Plinkett explain why

TNG was a fantastic show with a great cast that was not suited for action films so of course they make the TNG films action movies.

The series they should have made movies about they didn't,DS9 and Enterprise.
First Contact was good. Rest Meh.
There is talk of a Doctor Who Movie with out the TV people being involved, that will defiantly suck balls.
