The Google box gives me lots of names, somewhat random. Anybody have any recommendations for the following for DuPage County, south of Ogden. 1. AC vents and dryer vent cleaning. 2. Gas chimney repair (crap fell in from the rooftop, pilot won't work) Neither is urgent, but both have to be fixed in the next month or so as I start getting my place ready to sell next spring. Much obliged for non-asshat responses. |

We have used this place for repairs, cleaning, and inspection and have felt we were well taken care of; https://chicagolandfireplacechimney.com/ |

Dryer vent cleaning seems like a DIY thing, no? |

In my townhouse, it's not right on the other side of the wall like it was at my parents' house, it goes downstairs and through a couple of crawl spaces, easily 40-45 feet. |

Mine is easily accessible and I recently cleaned it, so I was worried maybe I was missing something. |

I would make sure they are licensed and bonded (if your house burns down after, their insurance might pay it). |
