Nah...they don't really watch much Sesame Street, anyway...they do like Elmo, which is far more disturbing than a couple of gay puppets.

I also would like to state that in terms of childrens shows that Sesame Street is not a good one. It seems to exist mostly now to try and sell Elmo merchandise. There are far superior options. I never liked it as a kid and my kid gets bored so quickly with it that I have to change the channel.

As far as the separate beds thing, that was a standards and practices thing back in the 50's and early 60's...Lucy and Ricky had separate beds, and they still managed to have Ricky Jr. I want to say the Brady's were the first married couple on TV to share a bed.

People really need some actual problems in their life if they have any time to sit down and convince themselves that a couple of puppets are fruits and think it's some fabulous sign of progress or whatever bullshit they're ascribing to it. Does that mean the same dopes assume that Felix and Oscar were plowing each other on The Odd Couple too? Oy.

Klugman had a nice ass. Looked good on Quincy, M.E., too. That show made me tolerant towards Japs. We sure bloodied their noses back in the day. Back to The Odd Couple. I do think they shoulda got a straight guy to play the finicky gay character, though, That Tony (Curtis? Randall? Clifton?) was 2gay.
