There's nothing original about this city. Everything they do, its an idea borrowed from somewhere else to boost tourism. |

I go every year. A couple years ago I hit all of the south side sites. Last year I did Oak Park on Saturday and the Evanston/Wilmette sites on Sunday. Tied up early today (though the Skokie sewage plant is open for tours until 4 PM so I might do that, not sure if that's part of Open House Chicago or not). Not sure where I'll go tomorrow. I really want to see the original Sears Tower now that the rehab is complete. |

I feel as though I've been in there already every warm breezy night on my way home. I have connections in The District, I can probably get you in there any time. |

My wife was an engineer with MWRD at that plant very early in her career and assigned to monitor levels of something in sewage. She also said there was a guy whose job it was to essentially scuba dive in the stuff for some reason. Shitty work but well paid. |
