Hearing anything beyond Bears talk annoys me. Until late February each show should be at least 80% about the Bears.

What else do you want to hear about? Bad Bulls and Hawks? College playoffs?

I'm more of a national sports guy with an ear for Bears talk.

There's really only so many times I can have Bears "insiders" tell me the game comes down to the guys in the trenches before I get burnt out.

When the Bears are good I don't want to hear anything else. It all sounds new and fresh to me and it feeds my addiction. Hearing about why Lovie got an extension is something they could save until 6pm.

Honestly, I'd prolly be the same way if I wasn't 1,000 miles northwest.

Strangely enough, Bears All Access still makes me turn the dial

Local sports talk is more entertaining when the Bears are bad.

To a point I agree with you. Unfortunately with all the bland & mindless on air guys on now, I've largely switched over to ESPN & FS1 as background filler most mornings through mid afternoons.

I listen to far less sports radio during football season too. Far too much Bears / NFL.

So even when the NBA is in season, very few talk about it? Interesting.

Chicago is a Bears town, and then a Cubs town. Always has been, always will be.

Be happy the Hawks got bad. I hope they stay bad for eternity.

Why would you want to listen to anything national when the Bears are good?

Considering I don’t watch the NFL or the Bears, I don’t listen to as much sports talk radio during the winter. I listen to more podcasts and I selectively listen to segments in which they talk about hot stove baseball or anything other than the NFL. I still do Transition everyday and the opening hour hot takes. I don’t listen to any of the Bears reports or NFL guests. I don’t dislike the Bears or root against them. I am just not interested in them.

Yep. Hearing that sort of talk for about the first 12-15 years of the Score's existence is what soured me on both Football and the Score. Gets repetitive after awhile.

I want to hear Les talking about how guys in the Cubs clubhouse in the 80s were good guys to him and considered friends.

If any one team defines this city and its character to the letter, it is definitely the Bears.

Meatball Flags must be flown high and proud during this wonderful time of Bears' success.

It's been way too long and we've been starving for a good team to support.

Any and all exhibitions of Bearmania is warranted, encouraged and expected.

GO BEARS!

Very well said, Mr. Fella. Life is better when the Bear are good. My meatball is a huge, throbbing mass of first place Bearmania. I love it.

Super Bears
Super Bowl.

They’re only going to get better.

I'm sorry, but not enough happens in a 3/3.5 hour Bears game to justify one full week of sports talk. On Monday if you want to go 90% or more on Bears talk that's fine, but after that I think a 50/50 mix is about right.

As long as they bring Julie on as a guest to explain why the 49ers keeping Reuben Foster instead of Kaepernick is evidence of collision, I'll keep listening.

I like listening to Murph in the offseason.

No. Meatballism is one single Joe Maddon quote that will program half the shows today.

OMG the manager is going to be more involved with coaching!!!11!
I'm glad Joe Maddon will be doing his job this season.
