I was doing some xmas shopping today and some old toys popped up in the process. Stuff from the 70s/80s looks so dated but had some fuzzy feelings brought back from childhood. I played with this for hours There were also these bubble bath packets that turned your water pink, blue, green or yellow. I'd never use the yellow and I hid the packets. My mom found them and said she wouldn't buy me any more until I used what I had. I burst into tears and said I feel like I'm sitting in a tub of pee. She tried making me mix it with the blue to make green but I didn't want to wreck the blue so I'd mix it with the green. I wish I had a box of them now. I desperately wanted a neon phone when I was in about 6th grade. |

Nerf guns. I'm not sure why I didn't keep playing with them my whole life though. Plus, less chance of a murder charge with them. |

A good soldier did all the damage needed with the below simple firearm. None of the fancy backpacks needed. |

This is the main one I used: When all 3 tanks were full, I could barely lift the thing. |

I was a puzzle, sports and play fighting kid. Didn't really play video games until I was like 10 or 11 when I got a Sega Genesis and Madden. |

that fuckin' marble game. not the marble run thing--though that was fun (as an adult). not stay alive, although that game was sweet, too. the game I am thinking of involved marbles with a ring around them and you had to sort of throw them down a lane. FOUND IT: |

Electric football sets. My friends and I played all the time. Actually ordered a couple of extra teams and rookie bases for "league" games. |

That ping-pong ball basketball was kinda cool. I remember being upset because I asked for Dr. J's game and I got some schmo named "Julius Erving." |

First pair of leather gym shoes I got were Conversed. Around here everyone called them Dr. J's . When I got to SportMart in Calumet City and asked for them, the salesperson had no idea what they were. |
