The 20 inches of snow was bad but I was at home for that. The dig out was the biggest issue. In late 2006 or early 2007 there was a snow storm and it took me 8 hours to make a 1 hour drive home. I saw cars spinning out all over I94. |

When I was a kid, a tornado hit our neighbor's garage. It jumped the garage and took out the half of the garage between it and the house and then jumped the house. House was unharmed. They just boarded up the half of the garage and the rest of my growing up we'd drive by and see their half-garage and I was always reminded of that tornado. Didn't hit our place at all. |

Worst storm I’ve been is either seeing a tornado come down about a 1/2 mile from me or the three feet of snow we got at our place the first Christmas Eve in Bozeman. 7 or 8 years ago the 20 odd inches we got on groundhogs day was the worst I’ve had to work with. 6-10 foot drifts are not a lot of fun to dig out. |

Worst I was alive for that my family was affected by was probably the '67 blizzard. I thought that was the ice storm, but that was apparently in '65, a year before my time. The most fun was being 12 during the Blizzard of `79. |
