As with anything there are things to consider with nuclear. Sure is clean if you can handle the idea of a potential accident and disposal of spent fuel. There probably isn't a power source that would satisfy all people.

they just had leslie stahl and 60 minutes at the fukushima plant to do a piece on where things stand with it. I didnt realize it but the plant survived the earthquake fine.... it was the 40 foot tall tsunami waves that caused the meltdown

I would be ok with it if they were located in the middle of nowhere in Montana or North Dakota where the possible damage would be minimized. That would never fly though.
