I read that this morning, although the person who posted it said it was about "downstate Illinois." I know we're Chicago-centric, but Will County being downstate is a stretch. The kicker is at the end when they say they figure the companies will just leave when their tax breaks are up. |

And those companies are the ones benefiting from the massive tax cuts in addition to the sweetheart deals. We can have a pointed political section here, but it's increasingly difficult to argue that (sacred cow) corporations aren't the real problem. |
