The contestants he's gone against are mediocre as best. None of them would win even a couple of days in a row. So it looks like they have been giving him soft competition, maybe to boost ratings with Alex being sick, who knows.

I've been watching for 25 plus years. This guy can be beat. There is a Jewish guy from Chicago that could beat him. I think he's a trader. The only time I ever saw him lose was on a daily double question, where he went all-in and blew a question about music from a film from 1993. He named the wrong film by saying "Pretty Woman", when the answer was Pulp Fiction. I wouldn't have known the answer either. In any case, he is very good and could beat Holzhauer. There was easy questions today that Holzhauer was missing. He gets lucky a lot with the daily doubles and then presses his advantage.
