If so, then I would recommend toning down the near constant attacks on the 3 wisemen for how they run it. I get that this time of year kind of sucks and everyone is dreaming of those balmy 40 degree April days but I've seen other message boards literally disappear overnight because enough people got so entitled that they cried about everything and it became such a chore for the people that pay for and manage the thing that they'd rather shut it down and spend time watching movies on Netflix. If you ever do find yourself so offended by the actions or perceived actions of the 3 wisemen then find any one of the other 1 billion sites that exist on the internet to spend some time at and calm down. We saw this happen with bigfan and all the headaches that people created for him. He was very understanding for a very long time but he was eventually worn down and became the kind of bitter message board operator that does one day just quit on the whole thing.

This isn't me saying you can't go after their thoughts but stop acting like you know what it is like to run a message board. Stop acting like there is some major insult because of something they did or didn't do. It's words, stored on a server. It's not real life. It's not that important.

To be clear, I am saying this because I like this message board a lot and the one thing that can destroy a community the fastest is a vicious cycle of entitled posters who then nitpick the smallest of decisions which then leads to other decisions which then get nitpicked. No need to fight a constant battle of "WHY WAS MY POST DELETED BUT THIS POST SURVIVED?". Stop pushing the envelope on posts after you've been asked nicely to stop.

This isn't a call out to any one person. It's a call out to many people. If you want further clarification if I was talking about you in this you can either send me a PM or ask me to say it in this thread but I don't intend to go on for pages and pages with you on it.

Use the board for fun, to talk about sports or whatever else you want, but stop causing grief to the guys who run this board for how they run this board or you may wake up one day with it gone and then we are all worse off for it. If it ever causes you serious mental health issues then take a board vacation and come back when you've regained the perspective on what exactly is true mistreatment.

If you don't want to navigate some of the tricky waters that come with running a message board, then don't volunteer for the job. And when those rough waters do present themselves, don't create a thread, like a crybaby, with your gripes, seeking attention. In my best Jay Cutler voice "Dooon't Caaaareee"

Less headache, I wouldn't do it. It is like being a manager and hiring your friend or brother in law. No good really going to come from it.

Or the folks that supposedly like having a place to post could treat one another with a minimum amount of human decency. There is way too much anger among MANY. Relax.
