I've done that in a few things and it does add nice body. In moderation you can't pick out the flavor of coffee but it does add something to the Chile, stew or whatever. |

So to be clear; adding day old coffee to comfort foods is a solid suggestion but you aren’t open to chocolate or peanut butter? Seems inconsistent at best. |

Every couple of months I make a late-night run to Milwaukee for Real Chili. Bishop's in Westmont isn't that great. |
