What about the Walking Dude? Was he anything more than just a homeless guy like they are trying to push now a days?

Why did he get rid of the big bills? The disjointed storytelling style lost me and I couldn't find this tidbit.

Contrary to Ike's lyric, he really wasn't doing it for the money. He was after the thrill and a purpose in life. He wanted to be the best at something. At least at first. Eventually, he robbed to pay for drugs.
