Mike Martz is the Fleet’s head coach and offensive play designer, no surprise that Washington had a free shot. Martz is not known for his protections. 5 Sacks in the first half :lol:

Other tidbits: Loved the official reviews are live in the booth with audio.
The kickers all looked better then Parkey. The SD kicker split the uprights with a 47 yrd FG.
The announcer for the SD VS SA game sounds like a young AL Micheals.
30 second play clock is not enough time for these guys. Lots of miscommunication
Loved the mic on the QB and head coach.
All the games are free live on Aaf's website.

Looking forward to more games. Will give this a shot. More entertaining then the Bulls.

It was ok, nothing that great.

I think at this point I am ready for a break from football.

It was nice to see a couple big hits that did not get penalties. And seeing the people review plays was fun.

Don't tell ltg, but the AAF had more viewers than the NBA.

Via Sports TV Ratings, the first AAF game, which aired on CBS on Saturday night, ‏averaged 2.913 million viewers between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. Eastern. That’s a far cry from what any NFL game draws, but by the standards of most network television programming on a Saturday night, it was solid.

By way of comparison, the NBA game on ABC drew 2.524 million viewers during that same 9-11 time slot.
