since this isnt specific to any one sport I put this here. Lifetime bans at stadiums. Seems like the Jazz blacklisted a fan. But so fuckin' what? If you buy a future ticket to a game, how will they know? If you pay cash, or buy it on the street, is there any way to know if a fan attended a damn game? I mean, is every employee for the next 50 years going to have a picture of you to look out for you in case you're in the stadium? Seems weird to me. Is this really enforceable? Ever known someone banned from a stadium, and did he ever find his way back in there again? |

He may be blacklisted on ticket purchasing websites. If he's a guest of someone else, they may get him using facial recognition software. If he buys something in the building using his CC, that could create an alert. Then he gets caught and arrested. |

Well this guy is wearing prosthetics to the next Super Bowl to test how enforceable this is. |

I would have to guess that most of these "lifetime bans" are pretty much just until people stop caring about the story. Why would you care about this guy not being able to enter the stadium in 2025? |

You think they are sophisticated enough to setup an operation like this across numerous platforms? Come on... |

I think it is mostly that they can charge you with more stuff if you cause a ruckus in the stadium again, because you knew you weren't supposed to be there in the first place. |
