https://www.timeout.com/chicago/news/th ... age-032219 I don't know, the screens that drop down like banners seem like a bit much. I guess I'm a purist, scoreboards should look like scoreboards, with seven-segmented numbers or dot-matrix numbers, one or the other. |

What is the rule for cap hits on dead players? |

I love it. Now they just need to go back to the old "Chicago Bulls" futura extra bold font. The current font is hideous. |

I like the Bull logo center court with no ball and the black lines in the paint and 3 point arc. I hate the new font. I want the '96 to '15 one: Not the new one: |

I agree on center court looking better without the basketball there, but all the changes to the paint are worse, and the classic Bulls font looks way better. I don't think they need the bull head on there five times. Just once is fine, but the Bulls an anomaly in today's overdesigned NBA in that they only really have one true logo, and I like it that way. |

I'm with you. I do dig the white and red color combo. It's a clean look. Especially in the paint. Maybe a white or black 3 point arc. And I like the classic font, by classic if you mean the one from '96 to '15. I grew up with that. Maybe that's why I like it |

I've noticed the Bulls seem to be mining the Chicago flag imagery more than any of the other major teams in town. Probably the best team to do so, not just because they have the space for it but because one baseball team or the other wrapping itself in the flag would be more headaches than it's worth. I don't really remember people being so into the Chicago flag until Obama was elected, or somewhere around there. I noticed it had really gained steam by the time Rahm was elected. But I memorized flags as a child and it never even occurred to me to think about Chicago having a flag. Now people get it tattooed on themselves even though they grew up in Vernon Hills or Grand Rapids or whatever. |
