Facebook was so cool 15 years ago when you needed a .edu domain email address to join and groups were centered around those on your campus. As a freshman in 2005, the best thing about getting my @purdue.edu email was being able to sign up for Facebook and abandon Myspace.

I knew it was going to eventually open up to everyone but when your crazy uncle joined, that was the end of it.
