Well, let's see. First the Earth cooled. And then the dinosaurs came, but they got too big and fat, so they all died and they turned into oil. And then the Arabs came and they bought Mercedes Benzes. And Prince Charles started wearing all of Lady Di's clothes. I couldn't believe it- he took her best summer dress and he put it on and went to town... |

This place allowed guests to post in the early days. The sniping and outrageous statements were fantastic. There were people who preceded me. I think doug, bigfan, spmack and a couple of others were here from some other progenitor of this board. It was intimidating to post back in those days. My favorite early memory was when there was some very graphic language used by posters. A mother of some kids who read the site announced herself and asked people to tone it down for her kids sake. You can guess how that went. The back and forth was getting pretty heavy and government fromage decided to take it to 11 by posting religious themed porn. Somehow the woman found out that he was an employee of the Wolves and reported him. I think he lost his job. The sniping back then was constant. I imagine there were a lot of talk radio employees who used this as a forum to anonymously attack each other. There was always good discussion about sports talk. |

I think I got here sometime around 2003 after the site was posted on WSI. You were already here but weren't you also here for a previous generation of the board? I think about it and even at 2005, that is 14 years at this place. I didn't think I had kids when I started posting. |

I don't recall the original iteration of the board, but maybe I was around at that time. I know I was posting in Summer/Fall of 03 for sure. |

I think their daughter was the same age as my oldest son so she has to be either finished dancing or ready to join Michael Flatly on tour. |

Oh God man I forgot about that. Awesome. Those were good eras. But lets think about best individual days. May 1st Meltdown. CSFMB infiltrates biker board. CSFMB infiltrates Tribune (Michael Vick chew toy day) The day the Webio died. What else? |

This was right around the time I joined but I seem to remember Holmes coming on her claiming to have broken 5 Bears stories during the 2004 season. Then called out and never responded. The OG thread. |
