Darn Tough and Stance both make quality feet coverings. Mayor Pete endorses the former: http://nymag.com/strategist/article/may ... hings.html Stance usually aren't quite as pricey as the DT's. Personally prefer Stance over Darn Tough. DT's feel too body armourish. |

FootJoy makes some great socks. For an overweight guy who walks up to 15 miles on a weekend, their ProDry series cannot be beat in my opinion. Awesome comfort, at least in the short ankle or below ankle styles that I buy. Depending on where you buy them probably $5-8 a pair but well worth it if not your everyday socks. I have heard good things about Stance and might buy a few for work. I'm really hard on socks and throw them out constantly. |

I have some bombas, they're decent, nothing special. Darn Tough are the best socks you can buy...but expensive. Generic white socks are just fine for the gym. |
