I was about 100 miles west of there.

That is an experience I wasn't planning on and will never forget.

Felt sick.

I’ve only felt one and it was in Illinois in 2003 I think. We lived in an old farm house at time and I figured it was one of the neighborhood Cat tractors driving by shaking glasses but saw no lights. Can’t imagine what bigger ones are like. Probably was in Cali for one but have no recollection.

I was in St. Louis in 2008 when that 5.2 Earthquake hit. I was staying in a hotel near the arch and woke up to the bed shaking. It was crazy.

No earthquake. Julie had a 4th of July pool party and did a cannonball. Fixed for RFDC

Yeah daughter-in-law and family lives there. 7.1 but centered in Bakersfield and the desert thankfully.

In LA for the first time and also my first quake ever. At first I just thought I was dizzy. Then when locals mentioned earthquake I finally realized what was happening. Locals around here saying it's one of the strongest they've ever felt.

This one felt much stronger than the one yesterday when we stopped in Bakersfield.

The one tonight lasted for about 20 seconds longer than yesterday.

There is little more bracing than hearing the beams of the building you're in creaking .

Yup. I think officially the one today is the main shock or whatever and the one yesterday is the fore shock.

Or they are both foreshocks.

That was the balance of power shifting to the Clippers.

That’s what the lady from the geological survey said last night.
