Sounds painless/instantaneous. I'd imagine a lifetime of smoking capped by a year of slowly asphyxiating as cancer destroys one's lungs and praying for premature death would be pretty shite. And yet many fork over $5000 a year in anticipation of the privilege. |

Mythbusters did a show where they tested a form of Chinese torture where a person is placed over some bamboo seedlings and the bamboo is stiff enough to pierce their body and grow right through them at a rate of about an inch an hour. |
