think it's a very vocal minority who should be shunned, I've never been on facebook or twitter. I don't give a fuck what these whiny kunts are crying about. Im guessing less than 10% of the population is on twitter. |

About 1 in 7 in the U.S. 1 in 5 for the UK Japan and Saudi Arabia lead the way in twitter penetration, about 1 in 3 in those countries. |

There is not a single time I look at Twitter that I don't find the desire to post something mean as a response to something a person I otherwise love has posted. I restrain myself to only sending birthday wishes. |

something like 15% of people in US on twitter. less than 10% of them are the people that actually tweet regularly. most just follow. twitter voices/outrage is less than 2% of the population. |

I have never been on Twitter and don't anticipate I ever will be on it. From everything I have heard, it's just a playground for malcontents. Sure, there are also tweets that come out from official sources that you might get a minute or two sooner than the Score or ESPN reports, but I can wait a few minutes and avoid the rest. |

I think twitter is mostly Julie DiCaro and some fanboys. I don't know anyone who has told me they regularly use Twitter. Even my dad has a twitter account, and I don't think he uses it. |

The "regular user" number would be interesting to know. I have an account, but haven't tweeted once. Signed up a few years ago when hurricanes were rolling over our Florida place and was trying to find up to date videos/info of the area. Like all social media/message boards/comment sections, it is the very vocal, pissed of minority that people see. Nobody spends their time posting/commenting on how great everything is, they're just happy it's great. |

Quote: Of American adults who use the social networking platform – most users (90 per cent) rarely tweet while the other 10 per cent account for a huge chunk (80 per cent) of content, generating a median of 138 tweets per month. Quote: Twitter users in general differ slightly from the general US population in that they are on average younger and more likely to be Democrats. The top 10 per cent of active Twitter users, however, have a distinctive profile: they are more likely to be female, more likely to tweet about political issues, more likely than other users to agree that immigration strengthens American society that racial inequality is still a significant issue that gender inequality is still a significant issue. https://www.pewinternet.org/2019/04/24/ ... ter-users/ |
